The raw mohair is then teased, cleaned and carded before being handspun into a strong, fine yarn. The yarn is dyed in big cooking pots over a wood fire. All the exquisite colours are created from the primary colours of red, blue and yellow. Only the highest quality Swiss dyes are used and all yarn is mothproofed to maintain the high standard of Rosecraft quality. Finally the yarn is woven on traditional flying shuttle looms into exciting, unique fabrics, garments and tableware, in demand worldwide. Rosecraft combines the dynamic warmth of African colour with sophisticated European designs.
